Washington Redskin All-Stars Win Local Competition

Brianna performed with the Redskin All-Star Youth Jazz and Junior Hip-hop teams in Fairfax, VA at Paul VI Catholic High where they placed in several disivions. This win, help to secure the teams spot in the regional competition to be held in January 2010.

Brianna Joins the National Award Winning, Junior Redskin All-Star Team

Earlier this summer, Brianna attended the prestigeous choreography/technique camp sponsored by the Washington Redskin Cheerleaders. At the conclusion of the camp, several dancers were invited to audition and join the award winning All-Star team. Brianna, amongst those chosen, will join the Junior Hip-hop and Youth Jazz squads.

The Junior Redskins All-Star Dance Team is a competitive team that rehearses under the direction of the Redskins Cheerleaders Director Stephanie Jojokian and assistant Vihky Smith.

Brianna, with the Elite Institute of the Arts, will perform at Walt Disney World in the annual Magic Music Days Festival in August 2009. Performers were selected via the audtition process in which thousnads of dancers, worldwide, submitted audition videos. The performance, organized under the auspices of Disney Youth Group Programs, will take place in Downtown Disney, August 3, 2009.

Brianna, along with her performance group, will dance for Maryland State Delegates and the P.G. County Executive, Jack Johnson at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Philippine Multicultural Center in P.G. County Maryland on July 4, 2009. The groundbreaking ceremony for the $3 million corporate headquarters of the National Philippine Multicultural Center was held in February 2009.

Congratulations to Brianna!!! She was seletected for the second year in a row to join the National All-Star Tap Team in the 2009 Cherry Blossom Parade (04 APR 09). This year's performance is more intricate than the performances in prior years. Brianna will be one of 500 of tap dancers from around the country dancing.

Catch her live performance in front of the National Archives on Constitution Ave, approximately 10:15am.

Kennedy Center Performance

The Kennedy Center Presents: The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago Performs the Nutcracker

After months of rehearsals, Brianna made her Kennedy Center Opera House debut in the Nutcracker Ballet (based on E.T.A. Hoffman's rendition, The Nutcracker & the Mouse King, 1816) as Snow Angel #1. The Snow Angels were featured in Act I, Scene III - The Land of Snow. The show opened on December 11, 2008 and ran through December 14, 2008. Brianna made a substantial contribution to the production by performing in two shows per day, an afternoon & evening performance. Brianna was extremely excited about the opportunity and is looking forward to auditioning for the 2009 Nutcracker production.
